With more than two decades of practice, Rahul Shankhwalker has delivered a substantial body of built work throughout Asia, with several projects recognised in national and international publications. His portfolio includes the Conrad Hotel Bangalore, Raffles Resort Bali, Leela Kempinski Delhi, Medi Terre Boutique Hotel in Israel, Australia 108 Residences in Melbourne and the Six Senses Spa at World One Towers in Mumbai.

Rahul graduated from the University of Goa in 1998 and completed his Master of Architecture at the University of Melbourne in 2000. He began his career with Nikken Sekkei in Singapore, contributing to luxury hotels, resorts, residential projects and high-rise developments across the Asia Pacific.

In 2005, Rahul returned to Australia to establish a boutique Brisbane practice, collaborating with leading studios on high-end residential and resort work throughout the region. He later joined HBA Singapore as Design Director before moving into a co-director position at Studio HBA, where he now oversees a diverse portfolio of hospitality, residential and mixed-use projects.
